Thanks to my boss Carol, the owner of Picnic Café, I had a great opportunity to show my photographic works and had them printed as the name cards of the shop. The name cards are presented as post cards, which is quite different from the typical form we’re used to.

I bought these earrings at Weekend Fever. I like the sense of placing some hidden details through intersting accessories, and the miniature world has always been so captivating. They also remind me of a picture I took when I last visited Treasure Hill Artist Village near my school.
去逛週末狂潮市集時買的兩支耳環，我很喜歡這種能透露細節的小東西，一想到別人可能會在談話間不經意的發現這些微小的用心跟幽默，就覺得滿開心，當然這種情結大多時候自爽成分居多。賣耳環的攤販是個女孩，小小的木盒上放了許多的小小人物，這種微型的世界真的很吸引我。想到上次去寶藏巖時拍的一張照片。
I went to Weekend Fever this afternoon along with Gary and Margaret, and met Micki and some friends of hers. The weather hasn’t been too good recently, and due to the rain, there weren’t many vendors and all of them gathered beneath the roof, which made the market much more crowded than ever. We didn’t stay there for too long. Still some cool people though. Gary helped taking some photos today. We didn’t shoot a lot but I think some of them somehow represent the different types of people visiting Weekend Fever.
今天下午去了週末狂潮市集，但天候不佳，攤販數量明顯減少，而且都聚集在遮雨棚下，再加上動線似乎有點問題，所以人潮相當擁擠而且不時出現停滯的狀況。在那兒沒有待很久，但還是買了一件墨綠色長版外套哈哈哈。今天單眼給我哥拿，沒有拍很多照片，但覺得似乎多少可以代表去趕集(?)人們的不同面向。
Last Friday night it was the prom held by my department. I went and helped them with the photo taking.
上週五是外文舞會，好像是系上第一次舉辦這個活動。我去幫忙當相官，但成果實在是有點令人尷尬。對場地不夠了解，對數位單眼也還不夠熟悉。覺得該去多接觸一下這類型場合拍攝的技巧。
She’s also from my French class. I have wanted to take a picture of her for a long time. I talked to her for a little while today after class and found that though dressed in a boyish style, she’s actually a sweet cute girl.
