The Wedding

    These are the photos taken at the wedding of my cousin, whose mom is also my mom’s cousin. The wedding took place on the fifth day of Chinese Lunar New Year.

    During my winter vacation back in Pingtung, I attended the wedding of one of my cousins. I photographed the preparation and the rituals at my cousin’s house with black-and-white films, which was also the first time in my life shooting black-and-white photos. I got that roll developed in Daguerre Professional Lab and scanned it last weekend, and will upload the pictures of the wedding and the banquet as long as I finish arranging them.

　　放寒假回屏東時參加了表姊的婚禮，雖說是表姊，但其實我媽跟她母親彼此也是表姊妹。當天只在家裡進行一些簡單的儀式，結束之後移往大將日本料理宴客，出席的也都是較為熟識且住在南部的親戚們，一切極盡從簡，但其實相對來說也挺溫馨自在的。
　　那天我帶著剛入手沒多久的老單眼Praktica LLC，和拍了一部分的黑白底片ILFORD PAN 100，臨時起意決定用黑白照拍攝婚禮前的準備及儀式，至於宴客時則轉為用彩色底片記錄，私以為這會是個滿有趣的相映。底片在上台北後拿到達蓋爾沖，並自己在社上掃描。
　　拍了我爸，自從他退休後就很少有機會看到他穿西裝。但腦海中小時候每天清早的慣例行程卻很鮮明，老爸電動刮鬍刀的聲響、衣櫃橫槓上繽紛交雜的領帶、替襯衫上扣、平整紮進西裝褲的上衣，以及在鏡前端詳調整衣著的身影。
